The project aims to update and expand Guideline 1.0 with an international guideline group.
Methodologically, the update will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the Standing Committee on Guidelines of the Association of Scientific Medical Societies (AWMF). Relevant Interest-holders, in particular developers of health information and patient partners, will be actively involved throughout the process. The recommendations will be developed and formulated on the basis of the GRADE approach.
To ensure that the guidelines remain up to date, selected PICO questions and recommendations will be continuously reviewed and adapted in line with a living guideline approach.
In addition, a practical support tool will be developed as part of a co-creation process to facilitate the applicability of the guidelines in the everyday work of health information developers.
